What Carol King and Chopin have in common

The more you develop your ears musically the more you can pick out chord progressions, melodies, and rhythms as you listen to music.

The other day I was relaxing to to Chopin’s Nocturne Opus 9 No. 2 in Eb Major and lo and behold I heard unmistakably the chords from the verses of “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman!”

It made me fall in love with those chord changes all over again.

I love the study of ear training and harmony and how much it can help one appreciate music even more.

Reach out to me anytime if you are interested in plumbing the depths of music knowledge. I offer a free first lesson to anyone!
